Pending Issues

The following information is being provided for reference and the source of the information has been listed where available for release. Please research these topics and respond as appropriate based upon your research. We don't have the volunteer resources available to us to do more than brush the surface of these topics on this website.

We have divided this page into two sections, those issues which are affecting San Antonio area only, and those issues affecting a larger region or the entire state.

Local Issues          Regional/Statewide Issues

Pending San Antonio Local Issues...

  • Please read the following SAWS Report on Water Quality Activities and Recommendations. It is going before City Council for their action in October (projected) and will impact all of us.

  • Bandit Signs The City of San Antonio has finally strengtheded the city ordinace allowing citizens to remove illegal "bandit signs" from the city right-of-way without any fear of prosecution or other legal action. This has allowed many to feel empowered and has made a real difference in many neighborhoods around the city. There have even been seminars held at the Development Center (AKA One Stop) to inform citizens of the changes and what they are allowed to do. For more information visit the Code Compliance Department web page. [NOTE: SANT did make our position known to City Council.]
